UEFA U19 Championships

The Scotland U19 side have recently made history by becoming the first Scottish U19 team in 20 years to qualify for the final stages of the UEFA U19 Championships

The Scottish U19 Football Team

Managed by Archie Gemmill and Tommy Wilson the young Scottish side finished top of their qualifying group with wins over Bulgaria, Belarus with a well earned 1 - 1 draw with champions France thereby booking their passage into the Final stages.

At the Finals to be held in Poland, Scotland have been drawn against Portugal, Spain and Turkey in the initial group stage, with the top four teams from the eight finalists going on to play in the U20 world cup finals, which will be hosted by Canada in 2007.
